LUPE GARCIA 

Lupe Garcia Lupe Garcia first encountered MOMS in 2002 as a Child Development Specialist. In her nine years as a Maternal Child Health Coordinator (Home Visitor), Lupe has seen MOMS grow from 10 compassionate home visitors cramped in a small office space to a thriving organization propelled by a staff dedicated to serving babies and their families in Orange County.

Child Passenger Safety and Car Seat Event

Through the support of State Farm, and in collaboration with State Senator Lou Correa, the California Highway Patrol, and the Latino Peace Officers Association of Orange County, MOMS Orange County hosted a Child Passenger Safety Training & Car Seat Installation event at its site in Santa Ana.

Early Literacy for Babies

THINKTogetherBookGrant2012 Thank you to THINK Together's Early Literacy Program New Book Grant. New books were distributed to our very first Vietnamese 12-24 month Mommy & Me class graduates to build their home libraries!

Sadie Sacks, RN, MSN is a mover and shaker. As Director of the Orange County Regional Perinatal Program, she has dedicated many years to improving the quality of perinatal services by enhancing the collaboration of birthing hospitals, providing education and training for staff and physicians, promoting breastfeeding and helping to implement standards of care. Thank you, Sadie, for touching so many lives, influencing so many leaders and bringing people together to improve the health of mothers and babies in Orange County.

MOMS is currently in need of Infant and Toddler clothing, and diapers (all sizes). Donations are accepted Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you'd like to combine your drop-off with a tour, please contact Michele Silva (714)352-3420, or Yvonne Sanders (714)352-3427, in advance.
