OptiPro Now Offering Centering Bells
|
 |
OptiPro centering bells are made from a solid piece of 100% Tungsten Carbide
|
Centering bells manufactured by OptiPro are now available for precision optics companies looking to achieve exceptional centering results. Three major advantages of OptiPro's line of centering bells set it apart from the competition:
1.) Manufactured with care by experienced machinists on state-of-the-art equipment in OptiPro's machine tool showroom 2.) Made from 100% Tungsten Carbide 3.) OptiPro centering bells are made from one solid piece of tungsten carbide for added integrity, not a 2-part assembly like existing centering bells currently available
OptiPro offers 12mm and 25mm shaft sizes with a 6-week delivery. For more information or to request a quote, please contact Jayson Tierson, Director of Technology Solutions, at 585-265-0160 x243 or jtierson@optipro.com.

The Spring 2014 OptiPro U Class learns about the latest technologies, processes, practices, tools and machinery for advanced optical manufacturing
|
OptiPro recently completed another successful session of OptiPro U, the week-long training course that consists of lectures and hands-on experience for individuals looking to polish your skills in CNC advanced optical manufacturing. The OptiPro U Spring 2014 session, which took place April 7th to 11th, was made up of 12 students with a variety of different skill sets, from beginner to advanced. The 12 students represented optics companies from across the U.S. as well as the United Kingdom. It was the sixth graduating class of OptiPro U since the course was established back in August 2010.

One of the students had this to say about his OptiPro U experience:
"I would like to thank everyone involved for an informative and very interesting week. The lecturers were excellent and had an obvious passion for their subjects. This is the best training I have received since my apprenticeship. I must stress how important training like this is. From safety to aspheres, everything was covered. Very well done. The hospitality was excellent as well."
- Guy Germ, Gooch & Housego
OptiPro will be holding the Fall 2014 OptiPro U course September 29th-October 3rd. If you are interested in registering, please contact Danielle Bechtold at 585-265-0160 x245 or dbechtold@optipro.com. |
