 | Yama Seiki-AWEA Introduces New Horizontal Boring Mill to U.S. Market |
Yama Seiki-AWEA's all new MB series of high precision horizontal boring mills combines years of manufacturing experience on horizontal boring mills with the latest Japanese key components to provide maximum mechanical performance. The MB Series consists of a high torque spindle, rigid Meehanite casting, and a high precision rotary working table, allowing for maximum performance and productivity without taking much floor space. The optional APC system can efficiently minimize man power and reduce non-operational time, which increases productivity.

Some of the features of the Performa V4A-XP:

| Absolute Machine Tools to Showcase 5-Axis CNC Wire EDM at Amerimold 2013 |
As seen on Manufacturing News Website - Absolute Machine Tools will be exhibiting an AccuteX EDM SP-500i 5-Axis CNC Wire EDM in Booth 507 at Amerimold 2013. Amerimold 2013, which takes place today (June 12th) and tomorrow (June 13th) in Rosemont, IL, focuses on all aspects of the mold manufacturing business, from design to build to maintenance.
This machine features the new generation MST-II Microsparking Technology. AccuteX's MST-II utilizes Embedded Programmable Gate Array (EPGA semiconductor) within its CNC control to simultaneously discharge the proper amount of energy directly to the servo unit, stabilizing spark to cut and producing fine finishes for the aerospace and medical industries.
 The XYZ working range is 19.7" x 11.8" x 11.8". U and V axes are both 3.9". The UV Axis mechanism is placed in a cabinet above the working area for rigidity and protection from humidity and physical damage. The axes are driven by means of closed-loop AC servo motors with 0.000004" resolution and controlled by a linear glass scale feedback system. The SP-500i also incorporates the latest generation ball-retainer type guideways reducing 90% friction variation compared to conventional guideways.
