PEARL Electrical Reconditioning Standards Boost Revenue for Members
Mike Pennell, President of P&F Supply Co. and PEARL Treasurer, didn't have high expectations when he first took advantage of PEARL-created "sell sheets" that promote full members' expertise in using PEARL's technical reconditioning standards. Last year, he sent them to a few hundred customers who hadn't placed an order in six months and got a surprising return. "I thought if we get four or five orders, the program would pay for itself," Pennell recalls. "Instead, we got orders from about 5% of the customers we contacted." Read more...

PEARL's Board of Directors has voted to commit $1,000 to the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) in support of the organization's CSA Z463 Guideline on Maintenance of Electrical Systems. CSA is referencing PEARL's Reconditioning standards as recommended practice in the new guideline.
