TV Shows Being Filmed in Yonkers: Yonkers has become very "film-friendly" to TV and movie production companies so don't be surprised to see some of your favorite stars out on the streets of Yonkers.
New Series on FOX in Yonkers. The new show, "The Following" starring Kevin Bacon, has been filming in NYC, Bronxville...and Yonkers! They've shot in the Buena Vista Parking Garage downtown and turned our new riverfront park across from the train station into a Mardi Gras Fest. A two-day shoot at the park will end up being only a few minutes airtime but if you happen to watch this new series and think you might recognize a location, you're probably right.....it's in Yonkers!
Law & Order SVU at Yonkers City Hall. Mayor Spano welcomed actress Mariska Hargitay and the cast of Law & Order SVU to Yonkers City Hall where they filmed scenes of a new episode set to air on 2/13 at 9pm on NBC. (If you didn't already know it, our City Hall has a beautiful ceremonial courtroom that is often the location of many courtroom scenes including one on "The Sopranos.")
