This center serves approximately 1,000 homeless women and children annually, and houses up to 93 women and 45 children each night. Through comprehensive programs, they help homeless women every step of the way, giving them the tools and support they need to achieve self-sufficient lives.
Bring your plush bunnies, ducks, giraffes, etc to the school office before Mon, March 21. Thank you for donating to this worthy cause.
24-Hours of Prayer and the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament
Hello Friends,
This Friday the parish community will be joining the worldwide 24 hours of prayer March 4-5.  I am attaching the details from our bulletin. and invite you to join in this opportunity for prayer with the Lord.  Just a few minutes might be a great show of solidarity with Pope Francis in his desire for prayer for the great needs of our world.

You will notice that this Friday after Mass we will have Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, which our students do not experience very often.   We will have a quiet dismissal of the students during this exposition, as I believe the Monstrance (see picture) will be left out on the altar for the next 24 hours.

And did you know, Bishop Solis will be celebrating Mass here at 5PM on Saturday to conclude our "24-Hours for the Lord".

And finally, here is a quote I liked today I thought I would share with you:
This Lent, Fast by listening to others;
Pray by opening your hearts to them,
and give alms by holding your hands out to them.
