As we enter December we wanted to remind you that December 7th marks the end of the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period.

Medicare is complex - and can be very confusing and often overwhelming for both human resources and your eligible current, and former employees.  As part of our commitment to save you time and money, our Retiree Solutions Practice is available to you as a concierge resource to educate, empower, and assist your Medicare-eligible employees in finding a tailor-made solution that meets their retiree healthcare needs.  We traditionally assist as follows:  
  1. As employees retire and come off the active group health plan, BI acts as an extension of HR.  We provide individual Medicare consultations, assist in the Medicare selection and enrollment process, and provide ongoing support throughout the year. 
      
  2. When Medicare-eligible employees continue to work beyond age 65, BI can facilitate personalized employee consultations - comparing available individual Medicare options to the active group health plan.
As group health plan premiums and out of pocket costs increase, it often makes sense for active employees to move to Medicare plans, as the coverage can be more extensive and cost them less.  We would be happy to speak in more detail with you about how we can help streamline this process for you and your team - and as a valuable client to Borislow Insurance, we offer these services at no cost.
