VIDEO INTERVIEWS GROWING 

It was not long ago job applicants would experience the phone interview as one of the hurdles to getting a face to face meeting with an employer.  Technology has taken that one step further with video job interviews.  Larger businesses are using this tool to widen their applicant pool and speed the hiring process.  It is only a matter of time before the practice trickles down to small and mid-sized companies.

For those being videoed , many of the same interview skills apply as in the in person meeting. The applicant must also be concerned with lighting, possible harsh shadows, audio quality and background clutter in the camera's field of view.
