I wish to extend a personal invitation to the Bahamas Billfish Championship's 40th Anniversary Celebration & Reunion. This week-long celebration takes place during the Marsh Harbour Championship, June 9th through 14th.
We've planned extra social events throughout the week that will provide everyone with many opportunities to swap fish tales and reminisce as well as view many old pictures of BBC tournaments past. We have unique 40th Anniversary gift packages for those attending the reunion and, as a special memento, Steve Goione will be signing limited edition prints of the BBC's 40th Anniversary logo.
We are extremely pleased to be able to tell you that Fred Marolf will be aboard the COB II for the Marsh Harbour Championship. At 92 years young, Fred has participated in BBC tournaments for more than 25 years and was a member of the BBC's original Steering Committee. In addition to several recent BBC winners that are competing in the tournament, past Champions Harry Sargeant and George Lorton are rumored to be attending. And what would a BBC party be without Bartow Rainey and Bailey Bobbitt?
Abaco Beach Resort & Boat Harbour Marina is the host resort and is offering tournament room rates to those attending the BBC Reunion.
