Over the past few years our annual Christmas Food Drive has been very successful thanks to your generosity. This year as the holiday drew near we asked ourselves the question, "What happens after the holiday?" "Are people in need less hungry?" The answer was a resounding NO! So, in lieu of our Annual Christmas Food Drive RAFGC has established a Food Bank Donation account as well as an online payment site that will allow us to collect contributions to help feed less fortunate families in Franklin and Gulf Counties throughout the year.

 

It is a fact that food banks have the ability to turn cash into food at a rate that we, as individuals, can't possibly match. The food that can be bought by the food bank with cash donations not only costs less but it is much easier for food banks to manage. The online site that we set up is very simple to use and gives you the ability to choose whether your donation will go to Franklin's Promise Coalition, People Helping People in Gulf County or both. Our goal is to raise at least $1,000 each quarter.
