Rutgers Law Schools Merge -- Bigger, Better, Bolder


Rutgers Law School is now among the best.  The plan first introduced by law school leadership four years ago has become a reality with the American Bar Association's approval of the merger of Rutgers' law schools with two distinct locations at Rutgers University - Camden and Rutgers University - Newark.  The new Rutgers Law School will offer a comprehensive curriculum, propelled by one of the nation's largest faculties with wide-ranging expertise. Rutgers Sets Another Fundraising Record

Rutgers University is raising more money from donors than ever before.  Rutgers President Robert Barchi and Rutgers Foundation President Nevin Kessler this week announced that the University raised a record $187.9 million during the 2014-15 academic year-nearly 30 percent more than last year's record $148.4 million in donations.  Read more here.    

Jazz Studies Institute Executive Director Hailed  



The New York Times hailed the selection of Wayne Winborne as executive director of the Institute of Jazz Studies at Rutgers University - Newark.  The institute, which houses more than 150,000 recordings and 6,000 books, was founded in 1952 and is the first of its kind in the nation.  Read more here.
