Check out our regularly scheduled story times as well as a few SPECIAL GUESTS!
PRESCHOOL STORY TIME
Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10:45 a.m.
(Starting September 6th)
(3 years to 5 years)
Each session is 30 minutes long and includes stories, music, and activities.
TODDLER STORY TIME
Tuesdays & Fridays at 10 a.m. (Starting September 6th)
(18 months to 3 years) Each session is 20 minutes long and includes stories, music, and activities.
BABY TIME
Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. (Starting September 8th)
(Birth to 18 months) Each session is 15 minutes of books, music, bounces, and rhymes followed by 15 minutes of play.
FAMILY TIME
Mondays at 6:30 p.m. (Starting September 12th)
(All ages welcome) Start your week off right by coming to Family Time! Each week will feature a different activity appropriate for all ages. We'll have crafts, movies, games, and seasonal fun for the whole family!
September 12th - Lego Night (30 mins-1 hr)
It's time to break out your creativity and imagination as we play with everyone's favorite building toy: LEGOs! The library has a great collection of Legos for you and your family to build with and we'll display your master creation in our display case for the month of September! If you'd like to donate your Legos to the library, please contact Olivia at ostoner@cityofmarion.org
September 19th - Pool Noodle Boat Races (30 mins-1 hr)
Who doesn't love playing and having fun in the water? We'll be making pool noodle boats and racing them tonight and then you can take them home for bath time!
September 26th - Movie Night: Rachet & Clank (PG 1 hr 34 mins) (Parents required with children under 9) We'll make the popcorn and feel free to bring a snack or beverage! When the galaxy comes under the threat of a nefarious space captain, a mechanic and his newfound robot ally join an elite squad of combatants to save the universe.

LEARNING SAFARI: Learning to Work Together!
Wednesday, September 14th at 10:45 a.m.
Through the storyHead, Body, Legs from Liberia, children ages 3-5 will have the opportunity to learn the importance of working together. We will do a fun hands-on activity after the story.

Tuesday, September 27 10:45 a.m.
Collage a leafy portrait in the form of a mask you can wear.

We have a special guest coming from Embroiderers' Guild of America to read us a story and do a special fox face craft designed for preschoolers! Don't miss the Through the Needle's Eye Exhibitat the Marion Heritage Center on display now through October 8th.
LEGO CLUB
