Local Author Tisdale to Speak
Linn Area Reads
Date: Tuesday, March 1
Time: 6:30 p.m.

We are excited to present local author Anneliese Tisdale in a Linn Area Reads program here at the Marion Library! Anneliese will discuss her book Christmas Trees Lit the Sky, talk about her experiences as a young girl in wartime Germany, and answer questions. Ms. Tisdale would have been a contemporary of The Book Thief's protagonist, Liesel Meminger. Please come and share this fascinating evening with us.

Pre-register for The Book Thief author Markus Zusak's free program (March 13 at 5 p.m. at the Hotel at Kirkwood Center). Visit the Linn Area Reads website to learn more.
