It's Not Too Late! Sign Up for Teen Summer Reading!
If you're going into 6th - 12th grades next fall, sign up for the Teen Summer Reading Program online or at the Information Desk, where you can pick up the reading log with all the rules. Turn in your reading logs all summer until Friday, August 21 for prizes and tickets that give you a chance to win one of the Grand Prizes!

Check out the list of events at the website and mark your calendars! (FYI, some of them require pre-registration and are already full, but you can sign up for the waiting list.) More event information below!

Need something to read? Check out the list of Teens' Top Ten nominees (below) or find more suggestions at the Teen Reads webpage.

(Minimum age is 16, so tell your parents about the survey too!)
After-Hours Minecraft Party
Friday, July 17, 6 - 9 p.m.
Create and destroy with your fellow Minecrafters at this after-hours lock-in. We'll play the PC game on the library's server, with space to build and mini-games like Spleef and Survival Games. We'll also have food and Minecraft-themed crafts for when you need a break.

Do you have your own Minecraft account and/or laptop? Let us know when you register! The more accounts we have available, the more Minecraft fun for everyone.

P.S. We know everyone loves Minecraft, but this event is just for Minecrafters entering grades 6-12 next school year.
