Book a Trip
Year-Round Reading Program

This all-ages reading program couldn't be easier: just pick up a log and start reading. Check off each state as you read a book that either takes place in that state, is about that state, or is by an author who is from that state. You can read fiction or non-fiction. We've got suggested books for each state, or pick out your own!

As you check off each state, get a dot at the Information Desk to mark your progress on our map. When you've read a book from all 50 states, pick up a special prize! Find more information on the Book a Trip page on our website.

Myths and Truths About Ghosts and Apparitions
Wed., May 6, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

There are a lot of "myths" that television and movies have propagated through the use of "pseudo-science" and outmoded beliefs. Does your house have to have experienced a tragic event to be haunted? Does a person have to have died to be a ghost? Does lightning really stir up a haunting? Is there really something to that 3 o'clock in the morning creepiness? You might be surprised!

Learn from paranormal researcher Darcie McGrath in this extraordinary program about the myths and truths of ghosts and apparitions.

A Night With the Angels
Fri., May 22, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Maria Gurney Peth, PhD, angel decoding therapist, spiritual teacher, and author, is known for her exceptional and intuitive ability to communicate with the Angelic realm.

Random audience members will be selected to ask questions of their own angels, or to be the lucky recipients of an event Angel reading. For those who prefer to remain anonymous, we'll have a question box; participants can write out one question, and then Maria will randomly draw and answer questions throughout the program.

Space is limited, so register early!
