January 5
Winter Reading Program Starts
This year we are launching a 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program! We are excited to encourage early literacy with this new ongoing reading program for any child who is not yet in kindergarten.
We know--1000 books sounds intimidating, but don't worry. It's really only around 3 books each day for a year, or about 1 book every day for 5 years. The benefits to your child will be huge, and Marion Public Library will be here to support you every step of the way! Stay tuned for more details.
If your kiddos are school-age they still have a chance to participate in our Winter Reading events!
