Come listen to Terry Fisk, co-author of The Iowa Road Guide to Haunted Locations, talk about the top UFO sightings of Iowa, the Midwest, and the world. He'll share photos, case histories, and eyewitness accounts, talk about some of the cases he has personally investigated, and address some of the arguments typically offered by UFO skeptics and debunkers.

An Evening with the Angels

Have you ever wondered what your angel would say to you? Maria Gurney Pethand will sell and sign copies of her book, Angel Decoding, and give personal angel readings following her two-hour program. Maria will talk about how the angelic realm communicates through messages, symbols, numbers, and colors, and how to have a richer, more meaningful life.

Get your craft on each month on the fourth Tuesday by joining us in the Conference Room for after school crafts. This month we're making our own looms to create rubber band bracelets. Get started on a bracelet here and take your loom home to finish it!

Spring Used Book Sale

Friday - Sunday, May 16 - 18
Join us for the Friends of the Library Spring Used Book Sale the weekend of May 16-18 (same as the Marion Arts Festival!). Explore a super collection of gently used books, movies, and music and get the best prices in town.
Hours on Friday are 4:00-6:00 p.m. and the sale is open to Friends members only; however, you can purchase a membership at the door for just $10. Extra bonus this year for Friends members! Choose one FREE book of equal or lesser value for any book you purchase at the sale on Friday night only.
Book sale hours on Saturday are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Sunday, stop in between 2:00 and 3:30 p.m. for all the best deals everyone else missed all weekend and get a bag of books for just $2.00!
Proceeds from the Friends' sales go to support the Marion Library.
