Teen Tech Week: Discover Your Library
March 9 - 15

Discover your library from home with tech resources like e-books, downloadable audiobooks, downloadable magazines, and free music!

Check out Overdrive for e-books and downloadable audiobooks for your e-reader, tablet, or computer. Get e-versions of popular books like Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and also bonus stories like "Free Four", told by Tobias from the Divergent series. Start with the Overdrive e-book help sheets or the audiobook help sheets.

Want more e-books? We also have 3M; scroll down the main screen for the YA shelf. Start with the 3M help sheets.

You can also download a lot of your favorite magazines with Zinio! Find titles like Seventeen, ESPN, and Spin. Register for an account with your library card number, then log in to the same account using the Zinio app on your tablet or e-reader. Or read in your browser.

And don't forget to download your three FREE songs per week from the Freegal Music Catalog! (Music videos are also available, but each music video will use two or your three available song downloads.) Log in with your library card number and PIN.

Do you love to write or want to learn while hanging out with other teen writers? This is the place to be! What can you write? Anything you want. Poetry, a zombie romance, your life story as told by your dog, whatever. Share your stories and poetry, ask for feedback, and get ideas. Need a kick in the butt to keep the words flowing? That's what writing buddies are for.

Teen Writers meets on the third Thursday of each month in the Conference Room at 3:30 p.m. Open to grades 6-12.
