(18 months-3 years) 20 minutes of stories, songs, fingerplays. (No Story Times August 12-31)
Preschool Story Time
Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10:45 a.m. (3-5 years) 30 minutes of stories, songs, fingerplays. (No Story Times August 12-31)

Our knitting group meets every Wednesday* evening from 6:30-8:00 during the summer. Knit Wits is open to all ages and skill levels. We have lots of resources to help you learn!
*Knit Wits will meet Thursday nights at 6:30 starting in September.

Puppet Shows "Charlie's Heroes" &
 "Bobby's Gift of Life" Tuesday, July 23 at 10:45 a.m. (in place of story time) & 1:30 p.m. Puppets Curtis and Maria introduce kids to Charlie Corpuscle - the colorful puppet star - and his friends Whitey White Cell, Paula Platelet, and Penelope Plasma, as they journey through the human body explaining how blood works. Performed by the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center. |
 Doodlebugs Tuesday, July 30 and Tuesday, August 27 at 10:45 a.m. July 30th: In King Bidgood's in the Bathtub, the king spends all day playing in the bathtub. We'll imagine all the things that make bath time fun, and create a "splashy" work of art. August 27th: The trickster tale, Raven, from the Pacific Northwest is the inspiration for our art project, full of shapes, colors and patterns. |

 What happens when we dig deep inside ourselves and find motivation to help others? Learn about how first responders like K9, search and rescue, fire, and police do their jobs and see a real search drone in action! Stay for the announcement of the Grand Prize Winners and treats! |
Corridor Therapy Dogs
Tuesday, August 13 at 6:00 p.m. *
Being your kiddos to read to a furry friend! Your kids will benefit from reading to these patient, non-judgmental listeners.
*Starting in September the Corridor Therapy Dogs will be at the Marion Public Library the 4th Sunday of every month from 2:00-3:30!

Percy Jackson Party

We're celebrating the release of the second movie in the series, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (in theaters August 7th) with crafts, food, and a showing of the first film, Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief (for 2nd grade and up). |
Ice Cream Social
Monday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m.
Come celebrate a great summer and welcome fall with us at our ice cream social! There will be crafts and activities for the kids, a preview of our fall story times and events, and--of course--ICE CREAM!
