- Why should you sign up? We have Reading Rewards, Grand Prizes, fun parties, cool performers, amazing wildlife, and tons of great books for you to check out! Plus, you can prevent the dreaded "summer slide" so your brain is ready to tackle another school year!
- For kids age 3 - 5th grade (this fall) & babies from newborn-age 3
- 5th graders can choose our kids program or our teen program: "Beneath the Surface"
- Last day to enter reading DAYS/HOURS and pick up Reading Rewards is Saturday, July 27th (Grand Prize Drawing and Final Event is Saturday, August 3rd)

Family Time
Mondays at 6:30 p.m. (All Ages)
30 minutes of stories, songs, fingerplays and an activity, short video, or craft. Special guests include Pint Sized Polkas and Dinoman!
Toddler Time** Tuesdays & Fridays at 10:00 a.m. (18 months-3 years) 20 minutes of stories, songs, fingerplays.
Preschool Story Time** Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10:45 a.m. (3-5 years) 30 minutes of stories, songs, fingerplays.

 Pint Sized Polkas! Monday, June 3 at 6:30 p.m. Kick off the summer by dancing the night away with our special guest, Uncle Mike! Uncle Mike educates on concepts like the alphabet, numbers, occupations, personal hygiene, relationships, and foreign language through the happy sounds of polka music. The multimedia portions of his program teach topics like geography, history, math and how to dance the polka. Audience participation is encouraged through numerous sing-along and volunteer opportunities, including the "Chicken Dance." You want happy? You got it! Tons of fun for young and old!

"Toss, Catch, Dig" with Jay and Leslie's Laughing Matters
Thursday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m.
Your family will want to catch this act! Jay and Leslie toss and catch juggling equipment, have a game of baseball in mime, and will amaze you with the invisible ball. Dig this summer library fun for the whole family!

"Dinosaurs!" with Dinoman
Monday, June 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Dinosaur tracks lead right to the Marion Library! Have no fear, Dinoman is here! With Magic, Mayhem, and magnificent props, you will take a trip throughout the Mesozoic era. How do we know dinosaurs were here? What is a fossil? How are they made? This program is fun and informative for ALL ages!

"Water Rocks!" ISU Conservation Station

"Dig Deep!" Dinosaur O'Dell

Come for an amazing, hands-on, live reptile and amphibian program! With a wide variety of live animals, SNAKES ALIVE!™ lets you interact to discover first hand the fascinating world of reptiles. You can touch and even hold these friendly "critters." Learn their role in nature and how to care for them in captivity.

STEAM Thursdays! (Science, Technology, Engineering, ART, and Math)
Every Thursday at 1:30 June 13-July 25
Learn about our amazing world including your own body
through hands-on science and art. The ISU Extension will join us every other week to share things like whether we taste with our mouths or our noses, whose hair is the strongest, and which body parts have more nerve endings. We'll write all our scientific findings in a journal to take home. It's a great place to make new friends and play fun games too!
