Early Out Craft: Shrinky Dinks!
| |
Wednesday, March 6, 1:30 - 4 p.m.
Need something to do on those early-out days from school? The library has the answer! Every day that Marion Schools let out early, we'll have something special going on in Meeting Room A. Play video games, board games, watch a movie, make a craft, or just hang out. If you're home-schooled or don't get out of school early on those days, just come when you want!
This month we're creating with shrink plastic! Draw and color on special plastic, stick it in a toaster oven, and watch it shrink. We'll have some ideas for you, but you're welcome to bring your own pictures to trace. (Things with easy outlines work best, like the examples to the right.) Once they're shrunk, turn your creations into sun catchers, jewelry, or key chains!
