Martin LLP is pleased to announce that its client, Ward Leonard, a global industrial technology company that develops highly engineered, integrated motor and control solutions, has announced that it has acquired Houma Armature Works, a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company specializing in motor and generator systems. Martin LLP served as Ward Leonard's legal counsel in connection with the acquisition and related financing. 

Houma Armature Works' comprehensive technical capabilities, 24/7 field service, test facilities and deep experience with marine solutions will broaden Ward Leonard's best-in-class offerings in the Energy, Heavy Industry and Government markets.  Combined, the companies will have over 250 employees.
