DONATIONS AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR
TEACHER & STAFF APPRECIATION LUNCHEON
March 17   
Saguaro families, on Tuesday, March 17th, the SaberLinks PTO is hosting a St. Patrick's Day Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. We will be celebrating the Irish with a potato and salad bar.  The PTO is donating 150 potatoes, but we need fixings, salads, waters, and paper goods.  We also need a few parent volunteers to assist us that day.  Please help us show our wonderful teachers and staff how much we appreciate them!

SUSD IT SHUT-DOWN OVER SPRING BREAK (March 9-15)     
Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) office is moving back into the City of Scottsdale. The first phase of this move takes place over Spring Break, when the IT department moves to the Educational Services Center. During the week of March 9th, which is Spring Break, the majority of our services will be unavailable, including email, phones, SUSD Backpack, Gifted Services website, ParentVue, StudentVue and Success Maker. Certain phone lines will be accepting voicemails.  Voicemail will be set up to accept calls from the Central Enrollment Office, the District's main number (484-6100), as well as Desert Mountain, Ingleside, Mohave/MDA, Tavan, Cochise, Laguna, ANLC, Cocopah, Supai, Tonalea, and Yavapai. Other school phone lines will work but other District department numbers will not.
 
SUMMER FINE ARTS CAMP FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 3-12

Saguaro Orchestra presents
DISNEY AT THE "POPS"
CONCERT UNDER THE STARS AND PASTA DINNER
March 21, 6-9:00 pm, in the Quad at Saguaro
Bring the entire family to this outdoor event, Saguaro orchestra's largest fundraiser.  Enjoy a delicious pasta dinner (cooked fresh on site), as our orchestras perform Disney music under the stars, and enter to win raffle and silent auction prizes.  Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS. Please come and shop - tell your neighbors too. There are always lots of great clothing, toys, books, furniture and housewares at amazing values. If you would like to donate to the sale, you can drop items off in the bins by gate D in the back Kiva parking lot before and after school the week following spring break.

JAZZ AND CHOCOLATE 2015
April 9, 6:30 pm and April 10, 7:00 pm

PROJECT GRADUATION REMINDERS

Register and Pay Your Fee!
All graduating seniors are welcome and encouraged to attend Project Grad, a huge drug- and alcohol-free party immediately following the graduation ceremony. All students must be registered with parent permission.  In addition, all students are asked to pay the $100 donation fee (the party costs much more than the $100-per-student fee).  If you cannot pay the fee and would like to be considered for scholarship donation, please contact Cheryl White at rclbwhite@cox.net.

Boxers Needed For Project Grad's Boxer Bingo

Every year, Project Grad hosts a party for all graduating seniors right after the graduation ceremony. One of the most popular activities each year is Boxer Bingo.  Boxer donations are needed (new, pleaae) - and we are looking for all sizes, all styles, goofy and fun styles welcome (yes, the Superman boxers with cape are popular!)  There is a donation box in the Saguaro office - feel free to leave your boxer donation in the box.  THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING PROJECT GRAD!

One way our PTO raises money is through the Fry's Community Rewards program.  It is easy:  if you have a Fry's card, simply link it to our organization and we earn money every time you shop!

*Select 'Sign-In.'

*Enter your email and password then select 'sign in.'

*Select 'My Account', you should see Account Summary at the top. 

*Scroll down, Click 'ENROLL' under Community Rewards. If prompted, enter personal information.

*Enter 80628 as the number for our organization, then select 'search'.

*Under Select Your Organization: Select box next to our organization.

*Then select 'save changes.'

*If you have registered correctly, you should now see our PTO information listed under 'Community Rewards' on your Account Summary page.
