LAST CHANCE TO TAKE PART IN A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY:  HOST AN EXCHANGE STUDENT FOR 9 DAYS!
We are still looking for 5 Junior OR Senior girls to host Australian students for 9 days!
Saguaro families have always been so generous and have stepped up to host an Australian student for this brief stay in the U.S.  If you have a junior or senior girl, please consider hosting an Aussie for just 9 days, from Tuesday afternoon, March 28 to Wednesday morning, April 6. Families must have a Junior or Senior student attending Saguaro and provide a bed and meals for their Australian guest. The students will be guests at Saguaro for 1 typical school day. Remaining school days they will be go by bus from the school to participate in scheduled group tours and events. EMAIL secretary@saberlinks.org for more information! The application deadline has passed, so we are counting on our families to respond to this need as soon as possible. Thank you!

EARN MONEY FOR SUSD AND SAGUARO
BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SCOTTSDALE GIANT RACE 
Sunday, March 8th
Scottsdale Stadium
Excitement is building for the Scottsdale Giant Race, sponsored by The Scottsdale Charro Foundation.  There are races of all abilities, including family relays.  Plus, the Giant Race is a great way to generate funds for our school. There are prizes for fundraisers, and The Charro Foundation will donate an additional $500 to the school that raises the most money!  To register, go to www.scottsdalegiantrace.com and click on "Register Now."  For every racer who uses promo code SUSD15, the San Francisco Giants will contribute $5 to SUSD schools!  (Enter this promo code during payment checkout.)  In addition, all dollars fundraised by individual runners will go directly back to the school!

DISNEY AT THE "POPS"
CONCERT UNDER THE STARS AND PASTA DINNER
March 21, 6-9:00 pm, in the Quad at Saguaro
Bring the entire family to this outdoor event, Saguaro orchestra's largest fundraiser.  Enjoy a delicious pasta dinner (cooked fresh on site), as our orchestras perform Disney music under the stars, and enter to win raffle and silent auction prizes.  Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS. PROJECT GRADUATION REMINDERS

Register and Pay Your Fee!
All graduating seniors are welcome and encouraged to attend Project Grad, a huge drug- and alcohol-free party immediately following the graduation ceremony. All students must be registered with parent permission.  In addition, all students are asked to pay the $100 donation fee (the party costs much more than the $100-per-student fee).  If you cannot pay the fee and would like to be considered for scholarship donation, please contact Cheryl White at rclbwhite@cox.net.

Boxers Needed For Project Grad's Boxer Bingo
Every year, Project Grad hosts a party for all graduating seniors right after the graduation ceremony. One of the most popular activities each year is Boxer Bingo.  Boxer donations are needed (new, pleaae) - and we are looking for all sizes, all styles, goofy and fun styles welcome (yes, the Superman boxers with cape are popular!)  There is a donation box in the Saguaro office - feel free to leave your boxer donation in the box.  THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING PROJECT GRAD!

Kaplan Test Prep, in partnership with SUSD, is offering free online test prep to all SUSD students for SAT, ACT and PSAT tests.

To sign up:

Under "Kaplan's Program Options and Pricing" select "PSAT On Demand" or "SAT On Demand" or "ACT On Demand"
2) Once directed to the product page, click "Enroll Now"
3)  On this page, "Your Cart," you'll see a box under "Order Summary" Enter the appropriate promotion code:

One way our PTO raises money is through the Fry's Community Rewards program.  It is easy:  if you have a Fry's card, simply link it to our organization and we earn money every time you shop!

*Select 'Sign-In.'

*Enter your email and password then select 'sign in.'

*Select 'My Account', you should see Account Summary at the top. 

*Scroll down, Click 'ENROLL' under Community Rewards. If prompted, enter personal information.

*Enter 80628 as the number for our organization, then select 'search'.

*Under Select Your Organization: Select box next to our organization.

*Then select 'save changes.'

*If you have registered correctly, you should now see our PTO information listed under 'Community Rewards' on your Account Summary page.
