SAGUARO BASEBALL PLAYERS AND COACHES DELIVER BLANKETS TO ANDRE HOUSE HOMELESS SHELTER
As part of the Saguaro Baseball program's "Men of Character" theme, our players and coaches spent the Saturday morning after Christmas at the Franciscan Renewal Center sorting, counting and bagging collected blankets, then loading trucks and cars and delivering them to the Andre House homeless shelter. Delivering over 900 blankets with TLC and caring hands, our baseball players showed that great teamwork is valuable both on and off the field.

EVIT (EAST VALLEY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY)
Important Deadlines
If you're planning to attend the East Valley Institute of Technology during the next school year (2015-16), your completed application must be received in the Guidance Office by Thursday, January 15th. EVIT Advisors will be on the Saguaro Campus on Tuesday, January 20th, and passes will be sent to all students with completed applications.  All EVIT programs use the same application, except for Cosmetology.  Both applications are available in the Saguaro Guidance Office.  For Cosmetology, the completed applications must be hand delivered directly to EVIT starting January 5th through February 28th,and this program fills up quickly, so apply as early as possible.  If you have questions, please see your Guidance Counselor.  

 


 
ANNUAL SAGUARO ORCHESTRA RUMMAGE SALE
January 17, 8:00 am-1:00 pm - outside Saguaro auditorium
Mark your calendars for the annual rummage sale benefiting Saguaro Orchestra!  As you are acquiring new gifts and cleaning out the old this season, if you have any items you would like to donate to the rummage sale, they can be dropped off in the auditorium the night before the sale (Friday, January 16) from 4:00-7:00 pm.  Clothing, furniture, books, electronics, music, toys - anything you think others would like to buy would be welcome. Thank you for your support!

SCOTTSDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE OPEN HOUSE 

February 20th, 9:30 am-1:00 pm 
Scottsdale Community College will be hosting its annual open house on FRIDAY FEB. 20, 2015 from 9:30am-1:00pm for Seniors interested in becoming an artichoke.  The event will be held at SCC and is an opportunity for you to learn about the college admissions process, the different academic degree and certificate programs, and what makes SCC unique.  Space is limited. Kaplan Test Prep, in partnership with SUSD, is offering free online test prep to all SUSD students for SAT, ACT and PSAT tests.

To sign up:

Under "Kaplan's Program Options and Pricing" select "PSAT On Demand" or "SAT On Demand" or "ACT On Demand"
2) Once directed to the product page, click "Enroll Now"

One way our PTO raises money is through the Fry's Community Rewards program.  It is easy:  if you have a Fry's card, simply link it to our organization and we earn money every time you shop!

*Select 'Sign-In.'

*Enter your email and password then select 'sign in.'

*Select 'My Account', you should see Account Summary at the top. 

*Scroll down, Click 'ENROLL' under Community Rewards. If prompted, enter personal information.

*Enter 80628 as the number for our organization, then select 'search'.

*Under Select Your Organization: Select box next to our organization.

*Then select 'save changes.'

*If you have registered correctly, you should now see our PTO information listed under 'Community Rewards' on your Account Summary page.
