Feel the excitement during the opening session of The Ultimate DECA Power Trip when DECA takes over TD Arena on Friday, November 1, at 5:15 p.m. The opening session will feature DECA national officers, visits from Lucky the mascot and Celtics dancers and a spotlight on sports marketing from the following speakers!* 
| Kara Hutchinson serves as the director of strategic marketing for the Boston Celtics and has been with the organization since 2007 after working with the Pawtucket Red Sox minor league team.

| Mackenzie Henderson, a Massachusetts native, is the vice president of ticket sales and advertising for the Boston Celtics and has been with the organization since 2000.
| 
| Retired NBA star Dana Barros played for the Boston Celtics from 1995-2000, has served as the Director of Recreation for the city of Boston and now works with the Celtics' media relations department.

DECA CONNECTS TO THE CLASSROOM:
This conference will reinforce National Curriculum Standards, such as equipping members to explain career opportunities in sports marketing and explain advertising media used in the sports industry.
