Kris Marubayashi is a ceramic artist based in Sacramento, California.
Kris writes:   "Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Time:  5 components that come together to create different textures, colors, weights, shapes. With clay, the combinations are endless, as are the challenges. Working with clay is like life: you have to pursue your passions, be in tune with your surroundings, relish the unexpected, appreciate the little things, and love what you are doing each minute. "

Yoshinaga Kawamura is a current resident artist at Pottery Northwest in Seattle, WA. He received his BFA from Alfred University and MFA in Ceramics from the Ohio State University. His artworks and design products have been displayed internationally at museums and galleries in exhibitions in China, Korea, Japan, Finland, Hungary, and the USA.
