Upcoming Events!
beginning smocking
Beginning English Smocking -  Typically offered each month as a two class series on the first two Thursdays, 9 to 11 a.m. or 6 to 8 p.m.  However, due to our workshop with Trisha Smith, March classes will be on the second and third Thursdays, March 12th and 19th.  The regular schedule will recommence in April, with classes on April 2nd and 9th.  Call 501 227-0288 to register.

Sew Much Fun! -  Due to our Spring Heirloom Workshop, there will not be a March session of Sew Much Fun.  Please join us on Saturday, April 4th, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our next episode of Sew Much Fun.  The project will be our Shabby Chic Princess Bib!  Join Jane to create this cutie for your little princess -- makes a great quick and easy baby gift!

Dresden Placemat - Saturday, April 11th, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. -  This is one of our series of classes based on projects from Block Magazine.  Join Stacie to see how fun and easy it is to make a Dresden Plate -- who knows, you may decide to make a whole quilt!

Heirloom Christening Bonnet - Saturday, April 18th, time to be announced.  Learn or review your heirloom sewing skills as you create a precious bonnet in ribbon and lace.  Class will be taught by Jane.

Machine Embroidery Software Class - Saturday, March 28th, 10 to 11 a.m. - This class covers a variety of machine embroidery related topics, including aspects of using 4D, 5D, and 6D embroidery software. If you own an embroidery machine, you will find this class useful, and if you have or are considering purchasing software, you won't want to miss it!

Viking Club - Saturday, March 28th, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Join us on the fourth Saturday of the month for Viking Club to learn new ways to use your sewing machine, and to see demos of the newest gadgets and notions! There will be door prizes and lots of fun!  Bring a project for Show and Tell!

Sit and Quilt - Our next Sit and Quilt day will be Friday, March 27th, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  This is the perfect opportunity to bring an unfinished class project or other quilt project to work on with members of our staff nearby for questions when you need a bit of guidance. Please call to reserve a place. 
Sit and Sew - Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  
Sit and Sew is a great opportunity for those of you with sewing experience who are making children's clothes to come in and enjoy fellowship, with Sharon Chandler available to answer questions when you come to a tough spot! Please call to reserve a place.  
Sewing Classes for Adults and Children - Barbara Steely's sewing classes for adults and children are ongoing.   Barbara currently has limited openings in her adult classes on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.  These classes are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced seamstresses.  Home School classes are on Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 3 p.m., and openings are available.  After school classes for children and teens are offered on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:30, and there are a few available spots.  A Spring Break Sewing Camp will be offered March 23 - 25.  For more information, please contact Barbara directly at 501 680-4521 or bksteely@gmail.com.

Our Tuesday evening Adult Sewing classes are taught by Martha Douglas. Martha's classes are also suitable for all skill levels including beginners!  For information on openings, please call Martha at 501 920-0929. 

The classes page on our website provides our class policies including our refund policy, and more detailed information on many of our classes.  Please remember that payment is required to secure your spot in a class, and even if there is no class fee, you must be registered!
