New RI Community Health Website Launched
|
The Hospital Association of RI recently launched Rhode Island Health Care Matters, in collaboration with state hospitals and the RI Department of Health. The new site is a web-based source of population data and information about community health, and provides local news articles and information about community events.

Commerical Insurance Assistance Program Now Available for Consumers

The Rhode Island Resource, Education, and Assistance Consumer Helpline (RIREACH) is a free resource for all Rhode Islanders to better understand and access their commercial health insurance coverage. The RIREACH Helpline is available in English and Spanish, with interpreter services available in a variety of languages.

Childhood Lead Poisoning Funding Testimony

On Wednesday, May 8, Rhode Island KIDS COUNT testified in support of House Bill 5810, which would provide general revenue support for Rhode Island's Healthy Homes and Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program.
