HPBA Expo 2013 in Orlando...Linear Leads the Way

Having attended Expo every year since the early 80's gives me a good perspective on the dramatic changes in the hearth industry. In the late 70's into the 80's wood stoves were king. In the 90's, accessories like glass doors and gas logs prevailed. The 00's saw the direct vent fireplace dominate,

and now Linear rules the day........Here are a few examples:

L1 Linear by Valor

Valor continues to have beautiful proportions...the perfect combination of form and function. The L1 (pictured) is now available in a see thru,

plus the L2 50" widescreen has been added to the lineup. 

Element 4 by European Home

European Home introduces the Element 4: sleek clean faced designs imported from Holland. Features glass to glass corners on many units.

LHD 50 by Napoleon

Napoleon has a wide selection of contemporary designs up to 62" wide.  The 50" "Swarovski" design (shown above) is one of the most striking.   

 

Rhapsody by Lennox

 

 Lennox, a newcomer to the linear category, features the "Rhapsody" in 42" and 54" widths. The look is sophisticated, and the flames mesmerizing.
