As the weather begins to warm, or at least has the promise of warming, our minds begin to turn towards the spring to come and the summer there after. This warmer weather will find us enjoying wonderful days in the out of doors walking, taking photos, fishing, and of course making music. There are so many fun activities that we enjoy as the weather gets better.

My mind has begun turning towards the upcoming Summer Solstice Flute School in Park City Utah. I am so excited to return to gorgeous Park City Utah, where there are so many different activities to enjoy and so many delicious restaurants to partake of.

Nancy Haga, the organizer of the School and I have corroborated together to come up with an Early Registration Promotion for the Flute School Registrants! Anyone who has or does register before June 1st will be gifted a 20% discount on a Woodsounds flute.

Your flute can be purchased prior to the school or at the event itself.

Simply register for the Summer Solstice Flute School and then email a copy of your registration to me. I will then email you your discount coupon.

This is going to be a really fun school. It is one where I will actually be teaching a class in flute making. So if you have been wanting to learn from a master flute maker, don't miss this unique opportunity.

I wish you the very best and hope your Spring is filled with music and your steps with spring!

Simple Elegance and Beauty from the Wood to the Sound
Custom Elegance in Simplicity
Custom Elegance in Simplicity

These flutes are made with gorgeous woods, in our shop, using simple yet elegant designs that allow the true beauty of Creator's hand to shine forth. Just think of it, the wood comes into my shop for a few weeks. Then comes out as a lovely instrument. I receive praise as a wonderful flute maker. Yet, the reality is that Creator has been preparing the material for me for many years. Sometimes even thousands of years. Sometimes even Tens of thousands of years. Truly it is mind boggling to me. I am honored to be a little part of the process. From the raw wood to your music.

Ocean To Desert

Oceans to Deserts

A fun collection of lovely flutes that tour the world from the oceans and coasts of Oregon to South America. To the the Great Deserts at night only to end up at back in the desert of Utah at delicate Arch in Arches National Park.

We will be all around the country this year and are looking forward to seeing you soon! This list is not yet complete. We will be adding to it over the next few weeks.
