We appreciate you and hope that you will see that we are trying to find way to give back a little each day. Over the last few months we have been focussing a lot of attention of the way that our website is organized.

In the past our flutes have been lumped into one area that you had to sort through. Though it may have been fun occasionally, it took time and was challenging. The new website is divided into Classifications. This Classifications are listed below in the Quick Links. You are welcome to follow them on to our website and see where it may lead you.

Additionally, we have been working on making our flutes more affordable for some people as you will be able to read about in the Woodsounds Classics section.

We hope you enjoy the Video Contest and of course the flutes that we create for you.

Many blessings to you and yours.

Student Flutes

We are so excited to be able to offer these prices to you. It has taken a great deal of thought and planning to figure out how to keep our quality up while improving the production time. But I am so excited because we have found that the quality of the flutes has actually improved. In fact, we even added finish to the Student Flute mouth piece and first chamber. Here at Woodsounds the sound of the flute is first. The look and feel are important too and thankfully we accel in all areas.

All the Classics have had similar price reductions.
Custom Creations
Alive And Well

There is not much more that I love than creating custom flutes. I love a planning flute from a piece of wood that I know is going to be spectacular. Then to take that plan and turn it into reality, this is what I was created to do.

True enjoyment comes from turning dreams into reality.

Our custom flutes can now be found in three different locations. The Customs Creations  page, the Legendary Woods page, and the Maker Favorites page. Each flute may be found on on of these pages depending on the woods the flute is made from and how much the flute impresses me. Maker Favorites is reserved for flutes that I truly love.

World Flute Society Convention, Eau Claire, Wisconsin

We are pleased to announce that our inaugural convention will be held on the beautiful campus of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire! The summers are picturesque in Eau Claire, a small city whose residents are enthusiastic in their support of the cultural arts. The city of Eau Claire, and particularly its university, encourages all forms of creativity and self-expression, an approach that is displayed both readily and proudly. The beauty of nature is resplendent in Eau Claire, especially on the university campus where there are bike paths, scenic walking trails, and a river that runs directly by the Haas Fine Arts Center where the World Flute Society convention will be held.
