OUR CAR HIRE TIPS
  • Always look for a supplier that is IN TERMINAL, otherwise you will be bussed to a nearby office. Not a problem when you arrive, but if you are a bit late getting back to the airport dropping off your vehicle in the terminal is much faster! 
  • Don't always go for the cheapest. That is what most people will be doing, and on peak dates this produces long queues at the car hire desk. Pay a little more and you may go straight to the front of the queue! This doesn't make a lot of difference out of season.
  • Remember to book a car large enough for all your luggage. It's only about an hour from Alicante/Valencia to Javea or Moraira - even less from Malaga to Frigiliana - but you still don't want to be sitting with your suitcase on your lap.
  • For large groups, two vehicles is usually cheaper than one. And smaller cars are easier to park and manoeuvre round some of the narrow lanes.
