Arthritis Drug Spurs Hair Regrowth in Alopecia Patient

A Yale University dermatologist says a rheumatoid arthritis drug (tofacitinib) allowed a patient with medical baldness to grow a full head of hair!  The 25-year-old male patient was under treatment for psoriasis related arthritis.  He had also been diagnosed with - but never treated for - alopecia universalis, leaving him virtually hairless everywhere...  Read more...
