Taking advantage of the annual Twin Days Festival, held in Twinsburg, Ohio, researchers saw an opportunity. Could they see the effects of smoking on the aging process vs. genetics alone? In each pair selected for study, either one twin smoked and the other did not, or one twin smoked at least five years longer than their twin.
