Best Facial Cleansers?
Kathleen from Pine Hill asks: I use bar soap and alcohol to cleanse my face and get rid of the "oils".  Is that ok?

In a word - no!  Your skin has a natural pH balance that helps it to look its best.  Bar soaps and alcohol strip and dehydrate the skin as the pH level is raised too high.  Facial cleansers are much kinder on the skin but will still remove all the oiliness without completely stripping the surface and changing the pH.  We highly recommend you stop beating up your skin this way!  Pick up some Obagi NuDerm Foaming Gel Cleanser or Nia24 Gentle Cleansing Cream - they work great!

Melasma - The "Mask Of Pregnancy" - Diagnosis And Treatment
Up to 75% of pregnant women have some form of hyper-pigmentation (an increased dark pigmentation of any area of the skin). Typically, it is mild and affects already pigmented areas such as the nipple/areola. The midline of the abdomen can also develop a dark line called the "linea nigra".
