On the Road!
Humane Education & VIPaws
VIPaws Pet Partner Romeo and his friend Natalie
We've had a busy start to 2014, bringing our message of "protecting, advocating and educating" to people of all ages. Since the January, the MCHA humane education program has presented 31 programs throughout Monroe County and our VIPaws Pet Partners therapy animal teams have made more than 150 visits! Our VIPaws teams spread the joy and wonder of the human animal bond while providing notable health benefits to those they visit. Many visits combine both a visit with therapy animals and educational content about animal welfare or the role of the MCHA in our community.
