MYLAN WORLD TEAMTENNIS IS COMING TO TEXAS
This July, Mylan World TeamTennis is heading to the Lone Star State. The City of Irving, located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, will be home to a new Mylan WTT team beginning with the 2013 season. The team, which played for the past 20 seasons in Kansas City as the Kansas City Explorers, will relocate to their new home court in Irving and will be renamed in a fan-voting contest.
Team co-owner and general manager Jeff Launius will retain the rights to his 2012 team lineup which includes the world's top doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan, and Aisam Qureshi, No. 14 in the ATP doubles rankings.
Launius will begin to put together his 2013 squad at the Marquee Player Draft on Tuesday, Feb. 12. The team plans to bring back the Bryan Brothers and will announce other marquee matches following the Draft. The team roster will be finalized at the Mylan WTT Roster Player Draft on Tuesday, March 12.

2013 MYLAN WTT SEASON AND FINALS DATES
Fans: mark your calendars! The 2013 season dates for Mylan WTT presented by GEICO have been released. During the 38th season of Mylan WTT, 59 matches will be played in July, with the season culminating on July 28 with the Mylan WTT Finals presented by GEICO.
Mylan WTT Regular season: Sunday, July 7 - Wednesday, July 24
Mylan WTT Conference Championships presented by GEICO: Thursday, July 25 on the court of the top-seeded team in each Conference
Mylan WTT Finals presented by GEICO: Sunday, July 28 on the home court of the Eastern Conference Champions

DEFENDING CHAMPION AND WILSON ATHLETE VIKA AZARENKA WINS SECOND AUSTRALIAN OPEN
Wilson tour player and current WTA Tour world No. 1 Vika Azarenka repeats at the Australian Open, winning her 2nd consecutive women's singles title defeating Li Na 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 Azarenka, playing with the Juice 100, continues her 48-week stay as number one.
"Winning for the second year in a row is incredible," said Azarenka. "It's the perfect way to start. I had the best year of my career in 2012 after switching to the Juice and it feels amazing to continue the good form and win another Slam."
In an emotional match interrupted by fireworks for Australia Day, Azarenka gave it her all and fought hard to win the first set saving four set points. She came back from a set down and sealed her victory on her first match point in two hours and forty minutes. This win is a testament to Azarenka's absolute ability to stay focused on winning.

MYLAN WTT REC LEAGUE CHANGES FOR 2013
In 2013, the following changes will be made to the Rec League format: - The age requirement for Seniors will remain 50+ and 60+ for Super Seniors.
- Only one division will be offered for Super Seniors, Super Seniors 4.0 / under.
- The Open Division Nationals and the Corporate Nationals will be held in conjunction with the Recreational League Nationals in Indian Wells, Calif., during the weekend of November 1-3.

Four Mylan WTT stars will represent the United States in the Davis Cup first round tie between the U.S. and Brazil this weekend in Jacksonville, Fla. The Boston Lobsters' John Isner and Sacramento Capitals' Sam Querrey will play their first home-turf tie and will be joined by reigning doubles world No.1s Bob and Mike Bryan. During the final weekend of the first Grand Slam of the 2013 tennis season, brothers Bob and Mike Bryan, and former Kansas City Explorers, scored their sixth Australian Open men's doubles title with a 6-3 6-4 victory over Robin Haase and Igor Sijsling. This marked grand slam No. 13 for the duo during their career together, which allowed them to surpass John Newcombe and Tony Roche for the most doubles majors.
