  Australian Open:
  Doubles Anyone?

Drama, excitement, triumphant wins and disappointments, and that was only week one at the Australian Open!

With temperatures rising to triple digits and becoming unbearable, Breakers players Anna-Lena Groenefeld and JP Smith were cool as could be advancing to the second round of their respective doubles draws Down Under.

The #9 seeds Anna-Lena and Kveta Peschke cruised through their first round match 6-4, 6-0 against Erakovic/Watson and will now face Jankovic/Lucic-Baroni, which is the last match up on Court 20 during Saturday's Day session.

On the men's side, JP and partner John Peers knocked out the #8 seeds in their opening match and then faced Stakhovsky/Youzhny in a second round battle, falling 6-3, 6-3.

But JP's not done yet as he will partner with fellow Aussie Casey Dellacqua in mixed doubles.  Their first round match follows the Roger Federer-Bernard Tomic encounter on Rod Laver Arena as part of Saturday Night session's featured matches.
