Meals on Wheels People does just one thing - delivers hot, nutritious meals to older adults. With a 14,000-square-foot industrial kitchen and 46 years of experience, the Portland-based organization prepares and delivers more than 1.3 million meals annually. And, like many nonprofits faced with shrinking government funding and donor fatigue, Meals on Wheels People needed a way to boost its revenue stream without adding another event or tapping into their existing donor base. Read more

Kaiser Permanente NW Community Benefit Grant Opportunity
Kaiser Permanente NW Community Benefit intends to award at least $1.5 million in community grants to support organizations that help people with behavioral health challenges to secure and maintain safe, stable housing. A minimum of five grants of up to $325,000 will be awarded for projects lasting 3 ½ years.

Ninety-nine Girlfriends Impact Grant
Ninety-nine girlfriends is please to annouce their Impact Grant opportunity for 2016. One award of $100,000 will be made in December, 2016. The application deadline for submitting a Letter of Intent is Monday, July 18th. Semi-finalists will be notified Tuesday, August 16th that they have been invited to submit full proposals. Learn more

A Quiet Place Mollalla
A Quiet Place Mollala (AQPM) is an interfaith spiritual residence located on five acres of farmland with a view of Mt. Hood just 40 minutes from downtown Portland. Also serving as a tree sanctuary and fruit orchard, costs for running the facility are covered by donations from individuals as well as grants. There are no fees at AQPM. Friends are hosted for day visits, overnights, work/study and special weekend gatherings. All spiritual traditions are welcome at AQPM. Learn more
