Are you guilty of an unreasonable request?

"Everyone has a different definition of "substantial," but as a longtime grants professional, as well as a former fundraiser, I know that these types of unsolicited, no connection, let's throw it at the wall and see if it sticks requests are rarely, if ever funded. AGF Welcomes Two New Members
We are excited to announce two new additions to the Arizona Grantmakers Forum!

Comerica Charitable Trust is dedicated to improving the communities in which Comerica operates through contributions, partnerships and volunteer opportunities in the areas of education, health, economic self-sufficiency and neighborhood revitalization. Their commitment to the community is based on their clear vision of being a socially responsible corporation making a tangible difference in the communities they serve.

Phoenix Rotary 100 was chartered in 1914 and is Arizona's oldest and largest Rotary Club. The club's charitable giving supports a wide variety of activities, both domestically and abroad, that range from recreational complexes for disadvantaged youths to health projects in Africa and Mexico. Members also provide "hands on" community service, such as painting the recently renovated UMOM homeless shelter and providing a holiday party for the families of the 158th Infantry Regiment of the Arizona National Guard when one of the spouses is deployed abroad.

Are you guilty of an unreasonable request?
Funder's Corner is back! This month's column gives nonprofits an inside look at corporate funders' reactions to even the most well-intentioned funding requests. Look for it in today's issue! (Hint: look on the left sidebar).

We are always looking for submissions! If you are a funder that has advice for grantseekers, please contact Emma
