QUICK LINKS
OFFICE UPDATE

Say "Hello" to our new Chamber Office Manager, Angie Wozniak.

Angie has been a Carol Stream resident her entire life! Her schooling includes Glenbard North, COD, and Roosevelt University.

She says she is enjoying her first weeks working at the chamber, and she's been a great help! She is enthused, energized, and very competent...and very nice. Please help me welcome her!!
RIBBON CUTTING

Our chamber member SportClips has a new home. They have moved to a brand-new spot across from Caputo's at the SW corner of Schmale and North Avenue.

We will help them with their Ribbon Cutting/Grand Re-opening Ceremony on June 15th at 11am. Will you be a smiling face in that photo?

"Yes, put me in that photo..."
Dear Chamber Members,

NETWORKING IN THE MORNING 6/2

June is here!! What a great way to start it off by a face-to-face networking opportunity!

Join us Tuesday morning, June 2nd, as Erica Loiacono and friends at School District 200 welcome us. This is an early event -- 7:30am-9am -- but it's designed to give a kick-start to your morning, and let you get to work, which will make for a positive start to your day. Details are located here...  I hope you'll come by!
LUNCH 'N LEARN ON JUNE 3rd
Brown Bag Lunch N' Learn
June 3rd is an opportunity to learn....thus the label "Lunch 'N Learn".

This month, we will hear about "Selling Against Competition You Don't Know" as author Heidi Thorne shares her expertise.

We will be at College of DuPage/Carol Stream campus from 11:30am until 1pm. Sign up here...
"PITCH YOUR BUSINESS" LUNCHEON

Getting the word out about your business at a chamber event is important. Reaching others with your message is what you need to do. Making it MEMORABLE is "spot-on'!!

You will have the opportunity to do all of the above at our annual "Pitch Your Business" luncheon on Wed., June 10th. We will be at the Holiday Inn & Suites for this light-hearted but intense lunch. It will be fun and funny, but valuable and key in helping build your business.

Reach out. Make it memorable. Join us on June 10th. Here are the details and sign up...
TIME FOR GOLF - JULY 8th

Our Golf Outing has been planned and set for July 8th at Klein Creek Golf Club in Winfield. Check out all the fun details and sign up here... or respond to the mailing you received.
WOMEN IN BUSINESS NEWS

Three more WIB events will round out 2015 and each one brings its own excitement.

Something new
to the chamber but popular everywhere is "Wine and Paint" with Bottle and Bottega. On June 18th, we will be dining and painting at RoccoVino's. We have limited attendance capability, so if you would like to try this, sign up ASAP. It's an evening event from 5:30-8pm.

The 9th annual "What Women Want" Expo will be help Friday, September 25th and we are already accepting registration forms. Sponsors, get yours in early so we can print your names on the shiny pink postcards. Here is that form...

Our year ends with the November 18th "Polka Dot Progressive" luncheon where 15+ chambers join together to make one phenomenal event. Sign up here.

Thanks to all of you who participated in our WIB events. We "turn" 10 this fall. Thank you for continually making these events a success!
AFTER HOURS - JUNE 16 @ JOE COTTON FORD
Have you driven down North Avenue and noticed the work being done at Joe Cotton Ford? We even had some calls about it.

Yes, Joe Cotton Ford has a new face...a great new face. They are our hosts for the June 16th After Hours and you are invited.

This free event is the perfect time to bring a business associate or someone from your company. It helps your visibility and it's a fun time, too.
