"STATE OF THE VILLAGE" MAY 13th

One of our most popular luncheons is the annual "State of the Village" where Mayor Saverino and village staff present the latest and greatest about the Village of Carol Stream.

Several years ago, we added a Mini-Expo to the event which added some extra value for our members. Space is limited, sign up now...

WOMEN IN BUSINESS NEWS

A huge "Thank you!" to all our participants and attendees at the April 29th "Tables of Interest" progressive luncheon.

We have three more exciting events this year from the Women In Business Committee. On June 18th is our newest offering -- "Wine and Paint" at RoccoVino's in the eventing from 5:30-8pm. You'll have some appetizers, some wine if you choose, and will take home an original piece of artwork created by...you!

The 9th annual "What Women Want" Expo will be help Friday, September 25th and we are already accepting registration forms. Sponsors, get yours in early so we can print your names on the shiny pink postcards. Here is that form...

MULTI-CHAMBER LUNCHEON OP

We have been invited to join the Addison, Bartlett, Bensenville, Glendale Height, WoodDale and Villa Park chambers for a May 28th luncheon. The speaker will be Exec. VP of College of DuPage, Dr. Joseph Collins. We will be gathering at Alta Villa Banquets in Addison. Register here...

AFTER HOURS - MAY 21 @ JAMESON'S CHARHOUSE

The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce will once again be joining us for our May 21st After Hours. We will be at Jameson's Charhouse by Stratford Square Mall in Bloomingdale from 5:30-7:30pm.

This free event is the perfect time to bring a business associate or someone from your company. It helps your visibility and it's a fun time, too.

ELECTION RESULTS

We would like to thank all that participated in our board elections last month. We welcome Janet Rife of PNC Bank to the board and we thank Ed Zuniga of Community Auto Body for his years of service on the board.

They were announced and honored at the April Chamber Luncheon/Annual Meeting and the new board begins June 1.

PARTNERSHIP WITH OFFICE DEPOT - UPDATED

We have enjoyed a partnership with Office Depot in the past and with the merger, there have been some changes.
