RIBBON CUTTING APRIL 2ND 
We invite you to a Ribbon Cutting of a new business in Carol Stream, Countryside Animal Clinic. They are located at the northeast corner of St. Charles Road and Schmale in Carol Stream. On April 2nd, their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will commence at 10:30am. Sign up to help them celebrate by clicking here.

A MONTH OF TWO LUNCHEONS 
  
We moved our regular luncheon early this month to March 4th. The "Accelerated Networking" program included members of the Wheaton Chamber and 60 attended. It was fast and furious but attendees received great visibility.

Later this month will be th
e annual Multi-Chamber Spring Luncheon held at Bobak's in Woodridge. On March 26th, 18 chambers will converge upon Bobak's Signature Events for a pre-luncheon expo followed by lunch. Our speaker is entrepreneur Dave Alwan of Echo Valley Farms who also took a trip into ABC-TV's Shark Tank. He will share his work ethic and experience with us. Reservations are limited as there will be 500-600 attendees so please sign up immediately if you'd like to attend. Click here... 
WOMEN IN BUSINESS NEWS 
The Women In Business event this month is a fun and relationship-building luncheon that we call "Tables of Interest." April 29th will be a Progressive luncheon, meaning you will move from table to table -- 3 in all. The difference here is that you CHOOSE the table by the table theme and  your personal interests. When you take your seat at the table, you immediately have something in common with the other 7 seated there; you've bonded!

We will have members from 6 other chambers joining us and we have mixed up the themes from other years. Not to worry -- there will still be a table with Jason from Ivy talking about WINE. Join us at Glendale Lakes Golf Club!

IIT IS SCHOLARSHIP TIME!
Each year the Carol Stream Chamber Scholarship committee interviews 30 college-bound students who are Carol Stream residents. This year, you have a chance to participate in their success by donating to the new Carol Stream Chamber Foundation. 5 STAR EXPO A SUCCESS; PLANNING FOR 2016

The 19th Annual Five Star Expo on February 6, 2015 was well-attended and a happy place to be. 80 exhibitors including 14 food sponsors were doing an outstanding job of "meeting and greeting" the business and consumer attendees. Medinah Shrine Center in Addison transformed from an empty room with tables to a teeming marketplace. For photos of the event, visit the Five Star Expo Facebook page by clicking here.

We have found the date for next year's expo which will be the 20th annual event. It will be held at the same venue on Friday, February 5, 2016. I guess you could call this a "Save The Date" notice, even though it's ultra-early.

We appreciate all our members and strive to bring you quality events that are valuable to you and your business, as well as educational and....enjoyable! AFTER HOURS AT KABUKI MARCH 19th 
The next Chamber After Hours will be moved to Kabuki, 19 E. North Avenue, Glendale Heights, on March 19th from 5:30-7:30pm. It was previously announced it would be held at Hand and Stone but they had to postpone theirs, so we'll be at Kabuki in March. Sign up here...
