The directory is going to press. June 6th is the deadline for any ad sales. If you haven't already heard, 1,700 are going to be included in the Daily Herald to subscribers and 1,300 will be direct mailed to businesses in Carol Stream. This leaves an additional 3,000 to go out to businesses and individuals through the library, chamber office, village hall, and local businesses. We hope you updated your info as requested. The finished directories will be available after July 19th!

JUNE 11th LUNCHEON
|
Our next luncheon is an exciting one, "Pitch Your Business". This is the opportunity to be more VISIBLE as you make your 45 second "pitch" memorable. It's summertime (finally!), it's the Chicagoland area, it's baseball season! Batter up ---or really it should say Pitcherrrr up! You will help designate an All-Star pitcher as you cast your vote for all who pitched. Usually we start our meetings with the Pledge of Allegiance but on Wednesday June 11th, Lena Marshall of Lena Lee Photography will sign our National Anthem. July 17th we will celebrate the Silver/25th anniversary outing at Klein Creek Golf Club in Winfield.
How can you be a part of this huge event? Sponsor. Golf. Donate. Volunteer. Come for dinner.

Summertime is a great time to get together in the early evening for a Business After Hours. We will get to gather at Rosie O'Reilly's on Gary just south of Jewell Road in Wheaton on Wednesday, June 18th from 5:30-7:30pm. During the summer months, we'll be holding our After Hours on Wednesday's so as not to interfere with the Thursday night Concert Series held at the Town Center in Carol Stream.
Since it's a free event, this could be the perfect chance to bring a few friends or co-workers. Sign up here and plan to attend.

Our next Brown Bag Lunch 'N Learn will be  announced soon and will be held at COD/Carol Stream, 500 N. Kuhn Road from 12:00 noon until 1:30pm.
Our presentation on June 4th was a treat - a Murder Mystery from The Mystery Shop and Mary Heitert. Thank you, Mary!
Sodas and chips were provided, compliments of COD.
