COMMUNITY-WIDE
FOOD DRIVE
| |
On Saturday, April 12th, neighbors, businesses, scouts, and schools will be focusing efforts on the 5th Annual Community-wide Food Drive in Carol Stream. Sponsored by the Rotary Club, all these will converge at Glenbard North, 990 N. Kuhn Road between 11am and 4pm. Residents will walk in with donations, "Neighborhood Partners" who have put bags and flyers on nearby homes will bring those items collected, as will our businesses and schools who have served as Collection Points. It's truly a community effort which helps re-fill three food pantries in the village. Your office, family, business, or organization can help, if you'd like.

RIBBON CUTTING @ JUBILEE

 Celebrate at a Ribbon Cutting with the Chamber and Jubilee Furniture as they open their new store just down the road from their old one. Thursday, April 10th at Noon is the time, the place is Jubilee at 730 E. North Avenue in Carol Stream, just east of their former location. Our next Brown Bag Lunch 'N Learn will be  held at COD/Carol Stream, 500 N. Kuhn Road from 12:00 noon until 1:30pm. on Thursday, April 17th. Our presentation will be "Tweet & Post For Your Business" by Luanne Newman.

 Our next Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, April 17th, from 5:30-7:30pm at Alberto's inside the Holiday Inn & Suites - Carol Stream.

WOMEN IN BUSINESS APRIL 30
| One of more popular Women In Business events is our annual "Tables of Interest" Progressive Luncheon at Glendale Lakes Golf Club. April 30th from 11:30am until 1:00pm, Business Professionals (of both genders) will be spinning around the banquet room, choosing their tables by their interest. It's a relationship-building event, as they sit with 7 others who share that same interest. A great networking opportunity!
