BOOTH CAMP - LUNCH & MARKETING PRESENTATION
|
Sometimes it is difficult to know exactly what to do to get ready for a business expo. Knowing what marketing to do before, during, and after can be intimidating. Ordering signs, printed items, and promotional giveaways are not to be forgotten, too. Join us for "Booth Camp" -- a time to network with attendees from five chambers, and hear two speakers give helpful ideas on good exhibit booths on Thursday, February 6th from 11:30-1:30. Mike Feeley of Concord Marketing and Sally Wolcott of Man Marketing will be our presenters. Lunch is $10 for members and $20 for visitors. Members who are in the printing, signage, marketing, or promotional products category and who have already signed up for/paid for their Fie Star Booth, may have an exhibitor booth at Booth Camp for $25. LUNCH 'N LEARN

Our next Brown Bag Lunch 'N Learn will be  held at COD/Carol Stream, 500 N. Kuhn Road from 12:00 noon until 1:30pm. on February 19th. Our presenter will be Attorney Bob McNees.
This is never a sales presentation.

 Our next Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, February 20, from 5:30-7:30pm at The Fun Ones, 257 Commonwealth Drive (off St. Charles Road between Gary and Schmale), Carol Stream.
The Fun Ones will set up a PhotoBooth, as they just gave away at the chamber's annual Bridal & Special Event Expo a week ago. They will show us just how much fun we should all be having!
I hope you'll plan on coming out to network, and meet some new members on February 20th!

FIVE STAR BUSINESS & HEALTH EXPO, FEB. 28th

The Five Star Expo Committee has been busy with updating and refreshing the 18th annual Five Star to include a Health Expo, as well. Join us for the Five Star Business & Health Expo on Friday, February 28th, 2014 from 10am to 3pm at Medinah Shrine Center in Addison.
In addition to the B-to-B expo, there will be an additional Health Fair component. Those in the health and wellness industry are invited and encouraged to participate. There will still be the Super Star ($1200) and Expo Sponsor ($600) levels, but the exhibitor rate will lower to $195 per booth.
Forms will be mailed very soon and will be posted on the www.fivestarexpo.com site.

WOMEN IN BUSINESS FEB 26th
| All the dates for our 2014 Women In Business luncheons have been planned with a few speakers still sliding in. We are really looking forward to starting off the new year right --- talking about fashioning your 30 second commercial on February 26th will be Tim Stewart. Will you join us?
