 Our chamber has the opportunity to hear from a Chicago Radio Legend: the one, the only "Mother Weber's Son", Clark Weber! Back in the 1960's and 1970's he was spinning tunes on WCFL and WLS. The Chamber office activity has been all about GOLF lately == > golfers have been signing up, volunteers are raising their hands, and raffle prizes are coming in. Remember, there is SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE at this, one of the few chamber fundraisers! We hope you will find a way to be a part of this fun and exciting event! Maybe you will be a Drink Hole Sponsor or buy raffle tickets for the iPad giveaway. Perhaps you've been trying to get onto the links all spring and now have a great excuse!
July 18th is the date and Klein Creek Golf Club is the place for this, the 24th annual event.

The new 2013-2014 Business-Community
Directories are being printed as we speak. Our partner, the Daily Herald/Niche' Publications, has done a great job and we can't wait to see it. Word has it that they will be delivered to 11,000 doorsteps in Carol Stream July 15-16. We hope to have them ready to give our golfers at the July 18th Golf Outing. There will be an online/electronic version as well, that will be posted on our website. We thank our advertisers!! More info, soon!!!!

WOMEN IN BUSINESS

It's a B-to-C event. It's filled with Chocolate, Shopping, Pampering, and Inspirational opportunities. It's September 25th. Will you be standing in front of your table, meeting and greeting the public and local businesses?
Our next Women In Business event will be the "What Women Want" Expo on Wednesday, September 25th from 10am until 2pm. To be a part of it -- in any way -- click here for the application. If you do not want a booth, you are able to have an item in the goodie bags (to the first 200 attendees) or a flyer/coupon for the low fee of $30.
