Parkway Tree Replacement Program

The removal of over 3,000 Village-owned parkway trees infested with the Emerald Ash Borer beetle has been completed.  After an aggressive campaign to minimize the number of dead and diseased parkway trees, the Village is now starting to focus on replanting efforts.

Replanting will be a multi-year effort.

Letters for the first round of residents eligible for a replacement tree have been sent out in the mail this week. Residents will have the option of choosing a 1 1/2 diameter tree which will be replaced at no cost or upgrading to a 2 1/2 diameter tree for a small fee.

Orders for upgraded trees are due August 26th at 10:00 am to the Community Services Facility at  505 Telser Rd - Attn. Public Works.
