The next Newsletter will be after the Spring Feast.  Constance is eager but I do not have the time to edit her writings until after the Feast.

In reference to Scott Ashley we do have a history.  In 2010  he sent me an attack letter condemning me for reporting that UCG was heading for a split. 

Some weeks later a member of his Colorado congregation sent me a tape of an Ashley Q&A during which he lied about me.  Because of his hate mail I did not want to go to Scott directly and instead went to Denny asking to caution Scott about his lying.

Denny did not tell me what he did so I cannot speak to that.

Then about two years ago when the new Trinity booklet was published he wrote me to claim that I had been wrong in saying they would adopt the Trinity.  I responded informing him that I had said no such thing and had only said that they were restudying the issue which they had done. 

Scott them searched through the whole blog using the search tool for Trinity and found nothing stating that they were accepting the Trinity; I had only said that they were restudying the issue.   He had thought he had something to attack me with and was very frustrated.

I wanted everyone to understand that last weeks situation was not some isolated event, which is why I posted on it.   This man has been on the attack since the beginning and is getting more and more frustrated with his repeated failures. 

I have no doubt that the attacks will continue from him and others and others are attacking mainly through the rumor mill to have plausible deniability.  There are many lies and false rumors being circulated about me.  There is even one that claims I hate God's church because I am an unrepentant homosexual.

Of course I do not hate the Ekklesia and am working just as hard as I can to warn them before the coming correction.  I am also NOT a homosexual; and for the record I have always been a lady's man; yet I have been absolutely faithful to my wife since my conversion, baptism and later marriage, even during the difficulty years after she left the faith.

I want to warn you that Satan is the author of many wicked lies and false accusations, and this will undoubtedly increase as we get closer to the time and much is fulfilled.

The secondary of Satan's lies against us, is that we are then tempted to hate the person telling those lies and false accusations.  We must always remember that such people are being deceived by Satan into thinking that they are correct and doing God a service.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Scott deeply believes that UCG is God's Church and that he is defending God and the right.  Please do not despise him or anyone else  who offends you; rather trust that the Great God of Justice will work it all out in the end. 

Remember the teachings of Christ that Scott has forgotten; and love those who hate us;  not loving the evil but loving the person; and pray that they may be liberated from their bondage to ignorance and sin.

We have God's own promise that people like this will learn an eternal lesson to love and obey God above all idols of men;  and that they will come in sincere repentance to learn of God at the feet of those they had despised.

Oh what a great day!  I would just love to put my arms around Scott and call him my brother and my friend!

Remember the story of Joseph and how he was reconciled to his brothers, and know that the offenses between brethren today are but passing temporary blips to teach us all eternal lessons.
